Study abroad with Bellevue University!

Connect with people and cultures around the world.

Experiencing a new culture is one of the best ways to prepare for a connected world. Bellevue University offers many opportunities for American students to study abroad in other countries.

As an intern with Sant Jordi Hostels in Barcelona, Spain, Kaite Franzen worked directly with the finance manager and marketing coordinator. She came back with more than academic credits: "Learning about the company and how the industry works was a huge learning experience!" she said.

Earn Academic Credit

You can earn academic credit toward your degree while expanding your perspectives through a study abroad experience.*

Visiting sites in the United Kingdom made famous by pop culture and music icons like David Bowie and the Rolling Stones, one recent study abroad team roamed the high streets and back alleys of London’s cultural history while earning elective credit towards their degrees. The group of Bellevue University students led by faculty member Rick Galusha, also took in sites associated with Harry Potter and the kings and queens of England.

Graduate Tours

Study abroad is not only for undergraduates. A group of MBA students are heading to the Czech Republic and Vienna, Austria, in the fall of 2018. Dr. Linda Thomas, who is leading a graduate tour there for the second time, explains that students will experience hands-on learning with Y Soft Ventures, a firm specializing in supporting technology start-ups in Central and Eastern Europe.

Build Experience that Stands Out

Including an international experience with your educational journey at Bellevue University is a great way to gain first-hand experience with another culture and broaden your perspective of a field of study. Plus, an internship or study abroad adds a unique dimension to your portfolio which could help you stand out with future employers.
